 Welcome to the BEAH restaurant in Wells, Somerset. Our vision for BEAH is to offer traditional English cuisine using ingredients sourced from local suppliers with daily specials using in season produce where ever possible.
While our lunchtime & dinner menus reflect some old favourites, locally sourced steaks & homemade desserts, Dean will also include some of his own dishes from the Med, you should try his hearty harrira soup with crusty bread, it will warm you up during cold winter days! Or perhaps you hanker for the cuisine you ate on holiday? A colourful paella, robust stroganoff or Moroccan tagines (cooked the traditional way not the fruity European way!) and of course cous cous. Sunday wouldn’t be Sunday without a good roast! But we aim to create tasty alternatives for vegetarians. BEAH has a fantastic room upstairs which seats up to 70 people making it ideal for private parties & weddings. You are very welcome to come and look around, have a chat with Dine & Nicola and together we will work to ensure you have the very best party, whether it’s a simple buffet, 3 course lunch or dinner, or perhaps you have a crazy idea and theme? Maybe you will be the first to have a traditional Moroccan wedding reception in Wells! With our private first floor function room we can cater for private parties, wedding receptions & christenings for up to 70 people. With a theatre style kitchen, bar, and private facilities our aim is to make your party one to remember. We are able to provide music and would enjoy working with you whether you have a specific idea or theme or, perhaps you would like us to create one for you? Owner/chef Dean will create a menu just for you using the very best locally sourced ingredients from a finger buffet to a gourmet five course dinner. Working with local suppliers, we can also source homemade cakes and flower displays and can pull in the services of an experienced party planner. At BEAH, our philosophy on food is simple, use fresh produce - whether its fish (delivered daily from Helston & Looe) - meat (100% traceable from local butchers who keep their own farm) - dairy products (using only free range eggs from Glastonbury) - & vegetables from a local supplier although we can’t guarantee that our fruit hasn’t gained a few air miles! Our menu changes regularly and is heavily influenced by Noureddine’s experience cooking at top eateries around the world, therefore you are likely to see a wide range of Mediterranean & British ‘fusion’ food. |
